Why Men Prefer Democrats

Emails from Wingnuts
Posted by Aimlessness on 2008/7/31 0:47:14 (1927 reads)

I'm sure many of you have seen the email that has been making the rounds titled "Why Men Vote Republican."

So in the interest of fairness, I submit a response that shows why they should prefer Democrats.

Let's start with the Lovely Ladies of Stage and Screen. Below, note that all four of the women from "Sex in the City" are Democrats. In fact, I noticed that Sarah Jessica Parker was in the audience with her husband Matthew Brodrick at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Next we move on to the ladies of Rock and Roll. This should give those guys "Somethin' to talk about."

Now lets look at the women whose lives are centered on politics because of their spouses or parents or they themselves are in elected office.

Lastly, here are two women who have been accused of being part of the "liberal media" even though they report quite even-handedly. I won't swear that they are Democrats. I could not find any political contributions that either of them made. But if this is who they want to ascribe to us, well gee thanks. Better these women than Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter.

 Women and Intellect
What a combination, attractive women with intellect, that combination could scare any republican or give them something to consider. No wonder thinking men are democrats, not bad looking bunch of guys either.

Thanks that was a fun article.

 Lara Logan on Daily Show
Not too long ago Lara Logan was on the Daily Show. The *major* media made a big deal because she happened to use the f* word -- GASP! (Do we remember where the terms FUBAR and SNAFU come from???!!!) Of course they (probably intentionally) miss the entire point of what she had to say about the reality in Iraq. Big surprise there. Thank God for the Daily Show for *real* news.....

 The Republican Women
Here's the "why men vote republican" version that was going around: (click to enlarge)

This one has been making the rounds through email forwards, but it's obviously skewed, and they had to look hard to find Republican women. Neither Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, or Kay Bailey Hutchison are shown.

It's a silly notion, really - that members of one party are all do-able, while members of the other are old hags. Further, that men should set aside their own common sense and education with regard to social and economic and defense issues and vote with their dicks... (pardon my French)

I'm sure we could find plenty of hags and hotties, bimbos and braniacs in each party, but what's the point?
