Best. Quote. Ever !!!

Rabble, rabble... RABBLE

Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Texas' 26th district, Ken Leach, was interviewed about his campaign by the Gainesville Register, and they actually ran this quote:

Leach said despite the recent Democratic Party groundswell, local media have been reluctant to publish his press releases.

"What is discouraging is repeatedly sending out press releases to the local media and not having them used, but when a Republican farts, seeing a front page story telling everyone how good it smells," he said in an e-mail interview.

That is too good, Ken. I couldn't have said it better, or more humorously myself.

It seems the newspapers always have room to run the simplistic platitudes of the radical right. But when a little thought, nuance, or political courage are required, they don't have time to listen to a Democrat.

Show Ken Leach some love!
