Re: Video: Neil Durrance for U.S. Congress - Speech Just finished watching Neil speak. A couple of points
1.- Ray LaHood is the current Secretary of Transportation a Dem. 2.- Arne Duncan Secretary of Education a Dem. 3.- Free health care is not going to happen even with a majority of Dems in both houses. 4.- What is collective responsibility? Sounds like a free ride for most. I prefer individual responsibility.
Yes Neil this is the Dem.Party.
Your presumptive opponent. Well as far as I know you will being having two and in all likely hood a few more with the new laws in the state. It is easy just to throw out statements like you just did. Now please back them up here with some facts. Not you Steve as you know your stuff. Let Neil, see if he can back up what he has said.
There is only one candidate for the 26th who ever takes the time to write here. At least we know where he stands

Re: Video: Neil Durrance for U.S. Congress - Speech Secretary of Transportation is not a Dem, he is a Republican.

Re: Video: Neil Durrance for U.S. Congress - Speech Really. You think "collective responsibility" means a free ride? Hopefully Neal Durrance will help idividuals like the Family Guy understand more clearly just what collective responsibility means. Neal Durrance has my full support.

Re: Video: Neil Durrance for U.S. Congress - Speech Pretty much Gus, Yes I think that is what it means I wish we all could collectively cut my grass. But I am sure that is not going to happen.
Collective when used in a political sense means (to me) I want some of your stuff. I pay my taxes to the collective. I make sure my family is insured. I donate to some charities and I work hard sometimes 6 days a week. My kids have all gone to collage and have started their own familes. Never once did the collective come to my home and help out.
Nor, would I ask or want them to. Folks we must stand on our own feet. Pretty soon it will be all hand outs and the pot will be empty. Then what ?
Maybe Mr. Durrance will take a moment and tell me what he really means. Thanks though Gus I do see clearly - Family Guy

Re: Video: Neil Durrance for U.S. Congress - Speech From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Collective responsibility - is a concept or doctrine, according to which individuals are to be held responsible for other people's actions by tolerating, ignoring, or harboring them, without actively collaborating in these actions.
Not to be confused with Collective guilt
