Saturday night, former Texas Comptroller John Sharp spoke to local Democrats gathered at the North Texas State Fairgrounds for "Donkeyfest", their annual celebration of all things Democratic.

Sharp is running for the U.S. Senate seat to be vacated by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, who will be resigning to run for Texas Governor.
